About Kitty Haven Cats

Why this independent kitten-care library exists and how it relates to the domain’s earlier rescue history.

An educational site, not a rescue intake service

Kitty Haven Cats is an independent editorial project about kitten foster care, adoption preparation and home transitions. It does not accept animals, process adoption applications, solicit donations or represent a shelter.

The domain kittyhavencats.com was historically associated with a Tacoma, Washington rescue known as Kitty Haven, which focused heavily on orphaned and abandoned kittens. The current website is not that former organization and does not claim continuity with its staff, foster homes, records or nonprofit status.

Why keep the subject close to the domain history?

The historical subject gives this domain a clear context: kitten rescue and foster care. Rather than repurpose the name for an unrelated topic, this library stays in that same broad field while presenting newly written educational material for modern caregivers.

What we publish

Our articles focus on decisions people make at home: creating a foster room, observing young kittens, building routines, preparing adopters and recognizing situations that should be escalated to a veterinarian or experienced rescue professional.

We avoid pretending that a general article can diagnose a kitten. Medical and emergency questions are deliberately framed with limits and referral points.
